Green Pen- Circles

Students are to use the Circles worksheet to record up to three strengths or areas for development within their work. GAP is applied through extending answers by giving reasons.

The aim of green pen circles is to encourage students to explore their reflective points.

Launch Resource

Students are required to present their answers, written within circles. The reason for this is it gives a visual approach to the task, which makes it more engaging and as a result encourages the students to concentrate deeper. Secondly the size of the circle is a good indication as to the length of the comment (hence the depth) required.

Give each of your students a copy of the circles worksheet. They should choose which level of challenge they would like to try-

Green- they need to give a strength or an area for development.

Amber- they need to give a strength or an area for development along with a reason.

Pink- they need to give a strength or an area for development along with 2 reasons.
