Students are given a Connect Mat that contains a set of generic question to use to reflect on the quality of their work. They need to use the keywords and connectives to expand their comments.

The questions used within this task are designed to be generic that focuses on the overall quality of the work that has been produced.

These questions can be adapted as required if you would like them to be more subject specific. When using these questions it is important to support your students in extending their answers so that they justify what they have written, this will help them to develop their skills through a deeper understanding. In order to achieve this students would require connectives and keywords which is where a Connect Mat is an ideal tool to support.
