Stuck O Meter

Students are able to access a computer with a resource which will guide them through a support process should they become stuck. This can be accessed at any point during the task.

Support your pupils when they get stuck with this tool to promote independence. Get them to think through different avenues of support.

This is a simple slide show to encourage pupils to think through the problem and use various sources of information before using the teacher.
This is ideally used on an interactive whiteboard but can be displayed on a computer within the room which pupils can access.
Pupils are directed to the resources and follow the instructions. This will prompt then to reflect on their current learning.
Don’t have an interactive whiteboard….
You could create a set of cards which describe the slides from the presentation. These could be placed around the room.
