Green Pen- Spaghetti

Students draw a spaghetti line and then record positives about their work on each upward curve and areas to improve on each downward curve. Peers are also asked to reflect on the work using the same method.

This is a simple, visual way for students to reflect upon their work and also involve their peers in the process as well.

Launch Resource

Ask students to draw a wiggly line with 3 ups and 2 downs. Using this line ask students to use keywords to describe 3 positives and 2 areas for development in relation to their work. These words can be written along the wiggly line.

Follow this up by getting your students to ask a peer to repeat the process in relation to the same piece or work.

If you wish, to further support this you could give students a list of keywords to choose from.
