What would win? GAP

Students are given two contrasting points and are asked to write an argument as to which would win in a competition. Students will be expected to feedback to the class at the end of the task.

Test your pupils knowledge and understanding through getting them to compose an argument to decide which is best.

The aim of this task is to assess pupils understanding through comparing 2 points.
Issue pupils with 2 statements or pictures related to the lesson and ask them to write an argument related to which would win in a competition.
You could time this task in order to limit the amount of detail (or not) as required.
Once completed, randomly select pupils to feedback their argument. The class can then give their own opinions on it.
Be aware that this is an activity designed to focus on the pupils and not teacher talk. Be concise in your explanation.
